KM will work with our other long time KM as a team, we are seeking to eleviate pressure from our other KM. He has been with us many years and started with us as a line cook. As we continue to grow we would like to get him a second person to share the responsibilities of managing the kitchen.

Duties
- Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, ensuring efficient team management and clear communication.
- Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and consistency across all dining experiences.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures.
- Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions by overseeing food production and service to meet client expectations.
- Supervise shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure menu options align with nutritional guidelines.
- Monitor food handling practices, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
- Conduct regular staff training on food safety, kitchen equipment use, and culinary techniques to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory, food costs, sanitation checks, and staff schedules to support efficient management.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef within a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
- Prior experience supervising kitchen teams with demonstrated leadership abilities in fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale food production is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and industry regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
- Experience managing inventory control systems and implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shift management efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Background in managing dietary requirements and collaborating with dietary departments or nutritionists is a plus.
