Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and speed
- Handle food preparation and serving duties, ensuring all items meet food safety and handling standards
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cashiering and retail math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Experience
- Prior barista experience or background in coffee preparation preferred but not
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and food industry calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
- Experience in serving or food service roles that require attention to detail and teamwork
