MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Screw Machine Operator at our Mooresville, North Carolina manufacturing facility. In this role, you will independently operate and optimize production equipment, troubleshoot machine issues, and help maintain consistent product quality and productivity.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 1:45 PM–10:00 PM
Pay: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Operate assigned mechanical production equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor parts and products to ensure they meet quality-control requirements.
Perform moderately advanced equipment troubleshooting and make adjustments to resolve operating issues.
Read and interpret blueprints when applicable to the work being performed.
Use required measuring and gaging instruments to verify product requirements.
Complete production, quality, and other required documentation accurately.
Maintain an organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Follow all applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
Intermediate mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Intermediate ability to use required gaging and measuring instruments.
Ability to address complex equipment issues and problems within the scope of the role.
Comprehensive working knowledge relevant to screw machine operation and assigned production work.
Employees in this role regularly work in a manufacturing environment and are required to stand for extended periods. The position involves repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, frequent bending and stooping, handling small objects with sufficient dexterity, and working in noisy environments.
