Civil Engineer - Site Development
Position Overview
The Project Engineer - Site Development will play a crucial role in managing and executing site development projects from start to finish. Projects will primarily consist of K-12, universities, healthcare facilities, as well as municipal projects. This role involves designing, planning, and implementing various site development activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Lead site development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget execution.

Conduct site assessments and evaluations for development opportunities.

Prepare and review site design plans, including grading, drainage, and utilities.

Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including SWPPP and erosion/sediment control measures.

Monitor construction activities and provide technical support to field teams.

Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress and compliance.
Qualifications

NYS Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in site development and engineering.

Strong knowledge of site design principles and practices.

Experience with paving, grading, drainage, and utility installations.

Familiarity with stormwater management practices and regulations including SWPPP.

Excellent communication and project management skills.
