SEAMSTRESS WANTED — CHI CITY STITCH
Chi City Stitch is looking for an experienced seamstress to join our growing team! We specialize in professional jersey customization for sports organizations, retail stores, and individual customers throughout Chicagoland.
Pay: Based on experience and skill level
Schedule: Part-time or full-time opportunities available
Responsibilities:
- Sew names, numbers, patches, and nameplates onto professional sports jerseys
- Operate industrial sewing machines
- Complete single-needle and zigzag stitching
- Follow specific measurements, layouts, and customization instructions
- Maintain clean, consistent, professional-quality stitching
- Inspect completed jerseys for accuracy and quality
- Help meet production deadlines and turnaround times
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous professional sewing experience
- Comfortable operating industrial sewing machines
- Experience with jerseys, tackle twill, embroidery, alterations, or apparel production is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work efficiently
- Willing to learn Chi City Stitch’s jersey-customization process
Experience with sports jerseys is preferred but not required. We are willing to train someone who has strong sewing skills, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow with our company.
