Overview
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate at our local convenience store. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions efficiently, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, retail experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision and accountability
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering preferred; familiarity with POS systems essential
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced store environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
