Summary of the Owner Direct Sales, Account Manager Position: The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for selling and estimating activities with owner direct accounts, as well as business development and operations tasks on a case by case basis. A list of principle duties is listed below:
General Duties:
- Owner direct selling of maintenance agreements and system retrofits for EnvelopiQ lines of business including, but not limited to:
- Life Safety Testing and Inspection Services
- Video Surveillance and Electronic Access Control
- Professional Sound and Intercom
- Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with owner clients and subcontractors.
- Exhibit excellent written and communication skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Possess strong business acumen and able to take initiative
- Create new relationships through industry networking and community philanthropy.
- Exhibits exemplary safe working behaviors and an exemplary attitude of customer service
- Flexibility of work outside of normal hours, as required.
- Estimating and Proposal Activities – Responsible for generating engineered estimates and proposals using EnvelopiQ estimating tools
- Seminar Development – EnvelopiQ will host 1-2 customer-oriented seminars annually. The sales executive will have organization and planning responsibilities associated with these events.
- Identify all opportunities offered by Envelop and work with your colleagues in a collaborative fashion.
- On a quarterly basis, develop and review account plan with management for accounts.
- Expected to maintain active involvement in the professional community
Owner Account Management:
- Maintain and build relationships by developing a plan and executing the plan on an annual basis, targeting high value potential clients
- Work with owners to develop turnkey solutions across all EnvelopiQ offerings, a focus on environmental control and developing energy and optimization strategies.
- A key duty for this position will be to have a high frequency of face to face engagements with our existing customer base.
- Develop and maintain a customer satisfaction program. We are always striving to provide the best customer service and improving communication and process.
- Review and develop strategic service options and proposals around identified customer needs
Education and Experience:
- 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent
- 3 years of Sales Experience
Knowledge:
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal and presentational communication skills
