Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise residential surveys and site assessments to support the design and installation of solar systems. Your expertise in surveying will be essential in ensuring accurate site data collection, mapping, and analysis to facilitate seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed residential surveys
- Utilize the software and pictures to create detailed site maps and layouts for project planning
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess roof conditions, electrical systems, and potential obstacles for system installation
- Record survey data meticulously in databases and ensure proper documentation of all findings
- Collaborate with civil engineers, project managers, and installation teams to provide precise site information for design development
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all survey activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or construction-related roles with a focus on site assessment
- Drivers license
- Strong knowledge of GPS technology and software
- Familiarity with databases for storing and managing survey data effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for documenting survey results
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
