KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a growing retail/consumer products organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its expanding Finance team.
This is a highly visible opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, managing a team, and contributing beyond the traditional close process. In addition to leading day-to-day accounting operations, this role will have exposure to FP&A, financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic decision-making.
- Lead the day-to-day Accounting function (approximately 80% Accounting / 20% FP&A)
- Manage and mentor a team consisting of an Accountant and AP professional
- Oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and balance sheet management
- Develop financial models, ROI analyses, dashboards, and reporting packages for ownership
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly financial insights to executive leadership
- Monitor cash flow and support overall financial planning initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies
- Travel approximately once per month to the company's New Hampshire manufacturing facility
- 7+ years of progressive Accounting experience
- Previous leadership or people management experience
- Experience within Retail, Consumer Products (CPG), Manufacturing, or Distribution
- Strong financial reporting, analytical, and business partnering skills
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
