***Ski Shop Clothing Sales Associate***
Skiing and Snowboarding is a social sport and as part of this team you’ll be the direct connection between consumers and our brand. We are passionate about skiing and riding, knowledgeable about the products that make the experience event better, and offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment. Sales experience is a plus but not required.
The Breakdown:
We are searching for Full-time or Part-time sales associates to work in the clothing department our White Plains location. Positions are also potentially available at our Stamford and Bedford Hills locations as well. Our season begins on August 1st so we are looking to interview and fill out our roster in the next few weeks.
Job Description:
- Working at the shop you will be dealing with the daily flow of retail customers.
- As a Clothing Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, helping our customers find the perfect ski and winter apparel, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of our sales floor.
- Other tasks will be required of you ranging from restocking, cleaning and tidying up, basically whatever is needed for the day to day operations of the business. No one should feel that they are above doing any job. Every job is crucial to having the business perform at the level that is expected.

- Vast knowledge of the ski industry is not required. Willingness to listen and learn is a fine substitute. We here at Pedigree are passionate about skiing and are more than willing to share our love and knowledge of the sport with new employees who aren't as familiar.
Things that will disqualify you from employment at the shop:
- Constant use of your phone while at work
- Showing up late for work
- Poor or negative attitude with customers or coworkers
- Disinterest in improvement
Physical Requirements:
- Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
- Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs

Now, more than 50 years later, their five children have continued to raise this store into what has become the best shop for all of your ski and snowboard needs. There are always difficult days throughout the year when working at a retail establishment, but working at the shop there is a feeling of camaraderie, friendship and passion for the sport of skiing that we feel is unmatched.
