Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction through suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and manage food handling responsibilities with precision.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or square POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and proper sanitation practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Experience with operating kitchen or café equipment is preferred; familiarity with grocery or retail environments is advantageous.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
