Job Summary:
We are seeking Servers and Bartenders to join our dynamic team. Whether serving guests on the dining floor or behind the bar, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
Server
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Utilize the POS system to process orders and payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Bartender
- Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Toast POS, for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, beverage selections, and daily specials.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed through proper food handling and cleanliness practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process guest payments.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere while handling inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and refusing service when necessary.
- Assist in setting up event spaces or banquet areas for private functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Server
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to upsell and promote additional menu items.
- Experience bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Experience operating a POS system.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Cash handling experience with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
Bartender
- Minimum 2-years of prior experience working as a bartender in restaurants, fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Background in hospitality or food service is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to create an inviting guest experience.
