Border Equipment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to assist the Controller with the daily accounting and financial reporting functions of our growing dealership operation. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial statements, monitoring internal controls, and supporting management with financial analysis and reporting.

Assist the Controller with daily accounting operations and financial reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Coordinate year-end audit preparation and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Provide support and guidance to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel as needed
Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to management
Assist the Controller with special projects, reporting requirements, and strategic initiatives
Serve as a backup to critical accounting functions when necessary
Bachelor's degree in accounting OR a minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience in dealership, powersports, equipment, rental, or inventory-based industries.
Management or supervisory experience.
Experience with inventory accounting and financial analysis.
