Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist in Charge to help lead our pharmacy team with enthusiasm. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, including HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Oversee medication preparation and aseptic techniques to guarantee safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records within electronic health record (EHR) systems and pharmacy software to ensure seamless documentation of patient care activities.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to uphold high standards of patient service and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practice standards.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols.
- Expertise in preparing medications and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Excellent communication skills for patient service delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality at all times.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
