Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician

Role Overview
BEPC Inc. is seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations for our client in Madison, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced manufacturing professionals with a background in pharmaceutical, chemical, or related production environments who are committed to safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
In this role, you will operate manufacturing equipment, support the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates, maintain strict safety protocols, and contribute to a collaborative, multi-shift manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow and actively promote all safety procedures and proper PPE requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas while following potent compound handling procedures.
- Execute manufacturing activities using batch records, SOPs, and other controlled documentation.
- Serve as a primary or secondary operator during cGMP production of APIs and intermediates.
- Operate manufacturing equipment during production, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
- Communicate production status effectively during shift handoffs.
- Identify and resolve safety and process issues through inspections and audits.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in laboratory and production environments.
- Support department operations by completing additional tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related Life Science field OR
- High School Diploma/GED with relevant manufacturing experience.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, chemical, or related manufacturing experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and follow written manufacturing procedures and protocols.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience using hand tools, weighing equipment, and measuring devices.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. with assistance when necessary.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work with highly potent and hazardous pharmaceutical materials.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
- Respirators (dust masks, half/full-face respirators, supplied air)
- Company-issued uniforms
- Lab coats
- Disposable coveralls or hazmat suits
- Physical examination required prior to employment.

- Upcoming Start Dates: July 6, then every two weeks thereafter.
- Important: This is a temporary assignment. Candidates wishing to remain with the client after the contract ends must apply for another available shift and discuss opportunities with their direct supervisor.
