We’re a locally owned retail lumberyard looking for a dependable, hardworking CDL Driver / Yard Team Member to join our team.
This is a local driving position — home every night — with a mix of driving, customer interaction, forklift operation, and hands-on lumberyard work. You won’t spend every day sitting behind the wheel.
You’ll make local deliveries of lumber and building materials to contractors, builders, and homeowners. Most of our delivery trucks are equipped with truck-mounted forklifts, allowing drivers to unload and place materials directly at the jobsite.
When you’re not making deliveries, you’ll work with the lumberyard team helping prepare orders, load customers, organize inventory, and keep the yard running smoothly.
No lumberyard experience is required. We’re willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Make local deliveries of lumber and building materials
- Operate truck-mounted forklifts to unload and place materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Make sure loads are properly secured and safe for transport
- Assess jobsites before unloading to determine the safest delivery location
- Work directly with customers to determine where materials should be placed
- Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles
- Pull and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
- Help organize and maintain lumber and building-material inventory
- Assist with general lumberyard operations when not making deliveries
- Work as part of the team to keep the yard clean, safe, and organized

Work Schedule
Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
