Duties and Responsibilities:

Electrician Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems including breaker panels, motor controls, transformers, cable systems, and control systems.

Perform maintenance on battery-powered emergency lights, and fan motors.

Help coordinate the movement of material to work locations.

Supervise apprentices teaching basic electrical skills.

Assemble Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Inspect transformers circuit breakers and other electrical components.

Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Education/ Experience Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Delaware electrical license.
-
Previous residential electrical experience preferred.

Must know how to read technical diagrams and blueprints.

Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.

Good knowledge of various test equipment.
-
Know National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
