About the Role
MedPro Repair is seeking an experienced Dental Handpiece Repair Technician to join our service team in Cary, North Carolina.
The technician will diagnose, repair, rebuild and test a variety of dental handpieces and related equipment.
Previous professional dental handpiece repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair high-speed, low-speed, air-driven and electric dental handpieces
- Disassemble, inspect, rebuild and reassemble handpieces
- Replace bearings, turbines, chucks, cartridges, O-rings and other components
- Repair motors, contra-angles and related attachments
- Test completed repairs for proper operation, air flow, water flow, speed and performance
- Document repairs and parts used
- Complete final quality-control checks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support efficient turnaround times while maintaining repair quality
Qualifications
- Previous professional dental handpiece repair experience
- Knowledge of common handpiece components and failure points
- Experience using handpiece repair tools and testing equipment
- Strong mechanical ability and manual dexterity
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work on-site in Cary, North Carolina
