Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Driver / Crew Leader to join our landscaping and maintenance team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles while leading a crew to deliver exceptional landscape, lawn care, and horticultural services. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Safely operate company trucks and equipment to transport crew members and materials to job sites.
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including gardening, lawn care, tree care, irrigation system installation and repair, and general horticultural tasks.
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign responsibilities, and monitor crew performance to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and work quality meets company standards.
- Assist with hands-on landscaping tasks when necessary, including planting, trimming, pruning, and construction-related activities.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicle logs; ensure all safety procedures are adhered to during operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor maintenance or construction environments.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and irrigation systems installation or repair.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license; experience operating trucks or large equipment preferred.
