Key Responsibilities
· Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans for elementary students. Integrate faith-based perspectives into lessons to help students see God’s hand in the subjects of Math, English, Science and Social Studies.
· Student Engagement: Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and hands-on exploration. Foster a love for learning by encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.
· Spiritual Integration: Incorporate Biblical principles and Christian values into your teaching. Encourage students to see their studies as part of their God-given purpose.
· Classroom Management: Establish a positive, disciplined, and respectful classroom environment where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and express their ideas.
· Assessments & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments. Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
· Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with colleagues, the administration, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment. Maintain open and supportive communication with students, parents, and school leadership.
· Professional Development & Growth: Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and conferences to continually grow as a teacher. Stay current with best practices in education and Christian pedagogy.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Education, a related field, or equivalent experience.
· Must be a citizen of the United States
· Teaching certification preferred, but not required.
· Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
· A deep and personal faith in Jesus Christ, with a desire to integrate your faith into your teaching and daily interactions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong classroom management abilities and a collaborative approach to teaching.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to engage in activities that require moderate physical effort, such as setting up classroom activities.
· Ability to stand for extended periods during lessons and activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
