Therapist Job Duties:
- Evaluation and treatment of clients in home settings with a variety of diagnosis including traumatic brain, spinal cord and orthopedic injuries.
- Collaboration with client to develop compensatory strategies to maximize independence and safety for activities of daily living
- Establish functional, measurable goals with appropriate timelines and engages client and/or care giver in setting goals
- Assess home environment and make recommendations for durable medical equipment or adaptive technology
- Complete daily notes or summaries electronically
Location: Southeast Michigan, Mid-Michigan, West Michigan
Therapist Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapy degree
- Michigan State License
- Experience with a traumatic brain injured, spinal cord injury a plus
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion to help and motivate others
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
