Parts Specialist
Duties:
- Receive and process incoming shipments of automotive parts and equipment
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received parts against purchase orders
- Organize and stock parts in the warehouse or designated storage areas
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of parts
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their automotive repair needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues related to parts orders
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs
- Coordinate with vendors for returns, exchanges, or warranty claims
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Knowledge of auto body repair or automotive industry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify parts
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory levels and track orders
- Effective communication skills to assist customers and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and inventory management
