Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for mathematics across various grade levels. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that cater to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
- Deliver classroom instruction in mathematics and science subjects such as biology, chemistry, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
- Incorporate educational technology and IT-integrated lessons to create interactive learning environments.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere conducive to academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational technology integration.
- Mentor students through tutoring sessions, academic advising, and guidance on research projects or scientific investigations.
Experience
- Proven teaching experience at the high school or middle school level with a focus on mathematics and science disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that includes advanced topics such as differential equations, organic chemistry, cell biology, microbiology, genetics, and molecular biology.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for teenagers.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents or guardians.
- Background in higher education teaching or research laboratory experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of educational compliance regulations and proficiency in integrating learning technology into lesson plans is highly desirable.
