Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our team at our Kansas City, Missouri location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers and containers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. There are 1st shift (8:30am-5:00pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) opportunities available. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the needs of the shop.
Trailer Mechanic Duties:
- Complete repairs on chassis using MIG and stick welding
- Inspect and repair lights, brakes, suspension, and frames on chassis
- Mount tires onto chassis
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chassis
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on equipment in TMW software
- Other duties as assigned
