Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate specializing in Paint to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings to various products using industrial painting techniques, including powder coating and airless paint spraying. Your expertise in surface preparation, materials handling, and adherence to safety standards will ensure that our products meet rigorous quality standards. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, cleaning, and surface treatment to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Mix paint per directions and fill tank - operate equipment such as paint sprayers, powder coating systems, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Apply coatings accurately using hand tools, spray guns, or automated systems while maintaining visual color comparison standards
- Handle materials and finished products carefully using proper materials handling techniques
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards in manufacturing
- Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills for accurate measurements and quality control checks
- Follow all safety protocols including PPE
Experience
- Must have prior experience in paint in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ability to work with visual color comparison tools and perform detailed surface inspections with accuracy
