Overview:
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and sanitary environment within a healthcare facility. this role supports patient care by ensuring hospital floors and surrounding areas meet strict cleanliness infection-control and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and disinfect hospital floors in patient rooms, hallways, operating areas, and common spaces

Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing

Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and buffers

Follow hospital infection control procedures and safety protocols

Properly handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, according to regulations

Respond to spills or emergency cleaning needs promptly

Restock cleaning supplies and report equipment or maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
