Job Summary:
The Blender I / Blender II position is responsible for performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment such as verifying the correct number of batches that will be produced that day, verifying all the correct ingredients for each batch, supply/track the raw material flow to the production staff, with a thorough understanding of the working environment and safe operating expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: A Blender II is expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions based on the business assignment (detailed):
- Responsible party in supporting the food safety culture of the company.
- Review the correct number of batches that will be produced.
- Verify all ingredients for each batch and prep the correct measurements for all mixtures.
- Supply/track the raw material flow to the production staff.
- Complete basic paperwork of processes such as labels.
- Carry sacks between 30-55lbs., from floor level to above waist level. This requires using the whole body: bending at the waist, bending at legs/knees while carrying the sacks and moving arms overhead to place it at the top of the pallet.
- Loading and unloading raw materials into dumping bins and/or manually dumping product directly into the blender.
- Responsible for counting and keeping track of the ingredients used.
- Safely operate and maintain machinery and line equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and secure, without obstructions for regular transit and/or access to the workplace.
- Reporting any issues to the Supervisor or Lead on duty.
- Employees may infrequently be assigned to perform other tasks temporarily. “During the temporary assignment, the employee must maintain compliance with all ZoRoCo’s policies but will not be disciplined for productivity- throughput performance.”

- Must be able to work 6 or more consecutive days, including overtime, any shift, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships is a plus.
- 1- 2 years of experience working in a food processor facility.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, andoccasionally up to 60 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
