Prepare high-quality meals for residents and staff using standardized recipes and established food-service procedures.

Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.

Follow proper food safety, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures.

Assist with maintaining appropriate food inventory and storage practices.

Work collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide excellent service to our residents.

Qualifications

Convey information to others in an audible, accurate and quick manner
-
One year of experience with food service preparation, preferably institutional cooking experience is needed
-
High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
Physical Requirements

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area and throughout the Home to accomplish tasks

Express and exchange ideas via spoken word conveying information to others in an audible, accurate, and quick manner

Visual acuity to read, prepare, and analyze
