Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Participate in special events or catering functions as required.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to bartending and beverage service.
