Summary/Objective:
A stylist will aid in creating customer loyalty to Great Clips by connecting with the customers’ comfort zone, every time they visit the salon.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver the Great Clips brand
Make customers feel comfortable by treating them like guests
Gather every customers’ personal information to properly create their profile in the Great Clips database
Keep tools, stations, and salons, clean and organized
Stay informed of and abide by all state rules and regulations
Handle iPads, cash, and coupons comfortably
Attend and participate in all salon or team meetings
Dress according to apparel guidelines for all work functions
Speak and read English when interacting with employees and customers
Provide customers freedom to get a service when they want to
Work a flexible schedule to help minimize customer wait times
Work peak shifts whenever possible to provide customer convenience
Operate with a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations
Be able to provide quality services for an extended period of time in a fast paced environment
Focus on the customer at all times when they are in the salon
Help customers understand Online Check-in
Make a connection with every customer by providing them the service they want
Provide quality services to all customers
Complete a consultation with every customer using the hand mirror to gather information about their desired service
Attend and participate in required and supplemental training
Talk about and recommend products to every customer
Use a hand mirror to confirm satisfaction before every customer leaves the chair
Update clip notes after every service so customers feel comfortable having any Great Clips stylist complete their next service
