Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated General Laborer to join our team. This role is hands-on and supports multiple departments across the shop floor. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily production operations, including cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly of metal components.
- Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.
- Support machine operators and fabricators with prep work and material handling.
- Perform quality checks and report issues to supervisors.
- Other general duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or metal fabrication is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
