American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CCU position at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility, requiring 2 years of LTAC experience and proficiency with vents, trachs, and drips.

Work setting is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in a CCU unit
-
Patient ratios can be 1:5-6 given the LTAC care environment

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required

Weekend block days are available for day shift
-
Local candidates are accepted on the same basis as travel candidates

Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of current, recent LTAC nursing experience required

Proficiency with tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation, and vasoactive/IV drip management required

Must provide two professional references for consideration

Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

This is a new client facility, making strong LTAC clinical skills especially important for a smooth transition

The higher patient ratios (up to 1:6) reflect the long-term, subacute nature of the care environment
