The ideal Club Toucan team member is someone who naturally tidies without being asked, notices when someone needs encouragement, and loves creating memorable experiences.
Position Summary
- Supervising children in our childcare and play areas while creating a safe, engaging environment.
- Leading simple crafts and creative activities for children of varying ages.
- Assisting instructors during classes and workshops.
- Helping set up, host, and clean up birthday parties and special events.
- Greeting members and guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
- Preparing craft materials and keeping supplies organized.
- Maintaining a clean, beautiful, and welcoming club environment.
- Restocking materials and helping keep activity spaces ready throughout the day.
- Assisting with retail sales, memberships, and general club operations as needed.
- Working collaboratively with teammates to ensure every visitor has an exceptional experience.
- Model respectful, positive communication at all times
Required Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Child Abuse/Background Check (or willingness to obtain)Experience working with children in childcare, camps, schools, or enrichment programs.
- Experience with arts, crafts, or maker activities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout a shift.
- Availability on weekends and for birthday parties is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a workshop, studio, classroom, or retail craft/art environment
- Experience managing small groups or classes
- Basic troubleshooting skills for tools, machines, or art materials
Work Environment & Expectations
- Must be comfortable working with both children and adults
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist hands-on with projects
- Weekend and/or evening availability preferred

As part of maintaining the elevated and polished atmosphere of our club:
- All staff will be asked to adhere to a dress code appropriate to the role
- Overall appearance should be neat, professional, and aligned with a high-end, creative environment
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
