Geaux Ford is looking for an experienced, dependable Vehicle Technician to join our growing service department.
We are seeking a motivated technician who takes pride in quality repairs, works efficiently, and is committed to providing an excellent customer experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing automotive group with room for long-term career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, engine, and drivetrain repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns
- Perform multi-point inspections
- Accurately document recommended and completed repairs
- Follow Ford and dealership repair procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely repairs
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred
- Ford or manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
