What You'll Do
As a Fence Installer, you'll work alongside experienced crew members and leaders to install a variety of fencing systems, gates, and related components.
Installation Duties
- Install various types of fencing, gates, posts, hardware, and related components
- Layout fence lines and assist with setting posts and installing fence materials
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Assist with demolition and removal of existing fencing when required
- Perform general jobsite and construction-related tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Ensure completed work meets B&T Fencing's quality standards
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or incidents immediately
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire crew
Teamwork & Professionalism
- Work closely with crew leaders, project managers, and other team members
- Follow directions while maintaining strong attention to quality and detail
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- Represent B&T Fencing professionally on customer and contractor jobsites
- Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work each day
- Help keep company vehicles, equipment, and jobsites clean and organized
What We're Looking For
- Fence installation or construction experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 80+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to travel out-of-town
- Valid driver's license preferred
Location & Schedule
- Positions available in Tallahassee, FL and Panama City, FL
- Local and out-of-town travel may occasionally be required
- Schedule and work hours may vary depending on project requirements

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
