Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Tenant Relations Specialist to serve as part of the growing team at REMAX REG PMD. This role is vital in fostering positive relationships with staff, tenants, owners and vendors. You will ensure tenant satisfaction and maintenance compliance with housing regulations. The Tenant Relations Specialist will handle lease administration, resolve tenant concerns, and coordinate property services to create a welcoming and well-managed environment. Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between tenants and property management, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally
- Manage lease documentation, renewals, and amendments while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines
- Utilize property management software such as AppFolio, Excel and Docusign to enter data accurately, track lease statuses, and generate reports
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure units are well-maintained and meet safety standards
- Conduct regular conflict management efforts to resolve disputes amicably while adhering to landlord-tenant law
- Assist with property leasing efforts by upselling available units and explaining lease terms clearly to prospective tenants
- Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and tenant records in accordance with legal administrative practices
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management to enhance tenant experience
- Perform field duties with milage reimbursement as needed per the direction of the Senior Property Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
- Experience using property management software; familiarity with AppFolio is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict effectively and negotiate solutions that benefit all parties
- Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to contracts and lease agreements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work from 9am - 4pm Monday thru Friday with the exceptions of federal holidays
