Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and floor care techniques.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas by disinfecting sinks, countertops, appliances, and fixtures.
- Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio cleaning or outdoor surface maintenance when required.
- Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to proper handling protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning techniques, and floor care methods.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to implement proper sanitation practices following health guidelines.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during cleaning tasks.
- Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and ensure satisfaction.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when needed.
