Start a career with EMUS and develop your skills working as a Warehouse Associate in our Warehouse operation located in Lawrenceville, GA We are looking for a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate to operate a powered forklift to move, stack, or load materials throughout production, warehouse, storage, and shipping/receiving areas or buildings.
Under general supervision, the Warehouse Associate will perform daily forklift safety checks and may perform minor servicing and maintenance of powered lifts. They will also be responsible for the following:
- Check incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy
- Keep stock neat and orderly, fill requisitions and maintains inventory records.
- Track, code, or mark materials and merchandise using hand-held electronic inventory devices.
- Ensure accuracy of each scan to maintain inventory integrity in AS400 systems.
- Keep records of materials on hand and on order, and update inventory system.
- Conduct cycle counts and monthly/term inventories, as instructed.

Required

1-3 year of experience Warehouse experience; Operating forklift and tracking Systems.

Must have basic computer skills, and ability to read and write numbers in decimals, and speak/understand basic English instructions.
- Familiar with Forklift truck, pallet jack, hand-held scanning device, and other material handling devices.

Must be willing and able to meet the physical requirements of the position: • Regularly lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift heavier items with team or equipment assistance • Push or pull heavy carts, pallets, or hand trucks • Load and unload trucks, which may involve bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion • Stand/walk for extended periods during warehouse duties • Maintain balance and coordination while operating a forklift and other material-handling equipment
- Must be willing and able to work overtime (up to 12 hours per day, and/or weekends).
