Massage Therapist needed for every other Sunday, some afternoons, and some evening appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform massage therapy techniques including deep tissue massage, swedish, hot stone, and other modalities as needed
- Assess clients' conditions and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide excellent client service and ensure a comfortable and safe environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines
- Manage acute pain and provide pain management strategies
Skills:
- Proficiency in swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic techniques
- Strong client service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment
- Knowledge of terminology, physiology, and anatomy to effectively assess patients' conditions
- Ability to perform client assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Experience in acute pain management and providing pain relief strategies
- Understanding of occupational health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
