Dana Transport, a leader in the chemical transportation industry, is looking to hire 2 experienced Tractor-Trailer Mechanics to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining tractors and tankers to ensure safe and reliable operations in compliance with DOT, OSHA and company standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and prior experience working at a chemical transportation company.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, tankers and related equipment including on both chemical and pneumatic trailers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Inspect and service braking systems, suspension, steering, tires and powertrain components.
- Maintain and repair tanker-specific equipment including pumps, valves and fittings.
- Ensure all repairs meet DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Document all maintenance and repair work accurately in company system.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Assist with emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Work together with drivers and operations to minimize downtime and prioritize critical repairs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of tractor trailer maintenance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical systems and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and inspection standards.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
