The Senior Manager – Maintenance position is responsible for providing leadership across several departments and disciplines. The role must focus on implementing standardized processes, driving the development of our RIOS process, and be a key interface between maintenance, engineering, and production.

Lead maintenance teams to reduce MTTR and increase MTBF.

Implement and drive problem-solving techniques to understand root cause in failure and develop countermeasures from recurrence.

Lead interface between leadership, maintenance, and engineering.

Support JPH and OEE improvements, through continuous improvement and project work.

Work with Reliability & Maintainability to develop improvement strategies.

Work with EHS to not only ensure compliance is maintained, but to focus on leading metrics.

Seek predictive and preventative methodology for reduced downtime – and scrub PM plans for optimization of maintenance tasks.

Interface with manufacturing engineering to ensure all documents (BOM, prints, electrical schematics) are available and linked to maintenance system.

This position may require working off-shifts, or adjusted hours.

10+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in automotive or automotive component maintenance.

5+ years of experience in a leadership position.

Solid understanding of management principles such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and performance management required.

Expert-level experience in the development and implementation of CMMS systems, with an emphasis on new model launch experience.

Extensive knowledge and experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.

Familiarity with concepts of reliability and maintainability, and able to develop and lead plant-wide efforts to improve equipment health.

Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader across multiple levels of an organization.

Experience building and managing a technical team through effective 1:1s, thoughtful feedback, career growth planning, and performance reviews.
