Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently
- Prepare sites by performing tasks like demolition, excavation, and site clearing in compliance with safety protocols
- Construct formwork, install rebar, and execute concrete pouring and finishing to create sturdy foundations and structures
- Install masonry elements, metal stud framing, stucco, plastering, trim carpentry, and perform renovation work as needed
- Conduct concrete cutting, concrete finishing, caulking, and masonry tasks to meet project specifications
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and colleagues
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment
- Knowledge of rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring/finishing, masonry techniques, and heavy lifting procedures
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Valid experience in carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco application or renovation projects is preferred
