Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for every guest
- Collaborate with the bar management team to uphold service quality and contribute to a lively atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS; proficiency in cashiering and retail math is a plus
- Expertise in wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Previous bar management or catering experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
