Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring smooth operations, and promoting a lively, hospitable atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items by recommending specials, beverages, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, or kitchen tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for food industry standards is essential
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
