Pump House Restaurant is on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Restaurant Managers to lead our dynamic dining team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and supervise team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team skills in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through proper food management practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring an overall enjoyable dining experience.
Skills
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant, casual dining, or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews.
- Solid understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices within the food industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
