Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to a diverse adult patient population, struggling with mental health and substance use. This role involves developing treatment plans and delivering individual, group, and family therapy within a residential setting. The Primary Therapist will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. A strong background in behavioral health modalities is highly valued.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.

Provide evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, behavioral therapy, and grief counseling.

Deliver specialized counseling services including family counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, crisis intervention, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain counseling.

Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions in a residential setting.

Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes.

Collaborate with medical professionals for medication management related to psychopharmacology when applicable.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives to improve treatment outcomes.

Provide telehealth services utilizing secure platforms for remote patient care when needed.

Support case management activities to coordinate comprehensive patient services across disciplines.
Requirements

Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field;

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field; required

Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities.

Strong background working with diverse populations, specifically adults struggling with mental health and substance use.
