Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about their service needs
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using estimating software and communicate these clearly to customers
- Explain necessary repairs and maintenance procedures
- Upsell additional services or parts that enhance vehicle safety and performance while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain detailed service records
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing auto service management
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive repair environments with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Skilled in using estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including Paint Protection Film, Paint Correction, Ceramic Coating, Window Tint, oil changes, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and collision repairs
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in estimating costs and managing service documentation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; previous auto service management or service writing experience is highly desirable
