Are you a skilled Salesforce developer who is passionate about creating impactful solutions that serve the citizens of Utah?
The Division of Technology Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ITA II Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining a State of Utah executive agency Salesforce platform to support critical state services.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development
-
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.

Configure and customize Salesforce Experience, Service, and Sales Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products.

Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other state systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.

Implement and manage Salesforce security and access controls.

Understand Salesforce administration.

Leverage Git source control and CI/CD tools to execute efficient, automated Salesforce deployments and maintain environment alignment.
System Maintenance and Optimization
-
Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.

Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
-
Document technical designs, code, and configurations.

Work within an agile development environment.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3-5 years experience in Salesforce development.

Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
-
Experience with Salesforce APIs, web services, and integration patterns.

Knowledge of Salesforce security and access controls.
-
Experience with agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II are highly desirable.

Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.

Experience with Salesforce administration.
