HVC Plumbing Services Inc. is a growing plumbing construction company specializing in commercial and public works projects. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations and help keep our projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
- Scan, organize, file, and maintain electronic and paper documents.
- Prepare, sort, mail, and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Shred confidential documents and maintain office organization.
- Assist with certified payroll processing for public works projects.
- Track employee hours and verify timecards for payroll.
- Maintain accurate employee and project records.
- Assist with data entry and document management.
- Support project managers and office staff with administrative tasks.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Perform general office duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Experience with certified payroll is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
