What you will do in this role: Having a loved one in a medical center is stressful. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first happy face to greet our visitors and family members and make them feel at ease. The functions are similar to that of a “Welcome” (reception) desk. You are greeting guests, performing clerical tasks and managing the phone lines for a busy Medical Facility.
Sample of daily duties:
- Greet and direct visitors while managing the incoming phone lines

Create correspondence, data entry, printing, scanning, manage office supplies, and receive mail/deliveries
- Make doctor appointments for guests and arrange the transportation

Monitor the employee door and ambulance bay entrance

Medical Receptionist: officially we call this job a Concierge, but in other centers it may be called a Welcome or Front Desk Receptionist.
What we need from you:

Prior Experience in a Healthcare or Medical setting is preferable.
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong Written and verbal English communication skills are required

High school diploma or GED

Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
